The glossary encompasses over 1,600 defined terms, dental implant classifications, charts, and diagrams, along with critical parameters that are constantly updated to keep our members current within the world of dental implantology.
As the largest dental implant organization, ICOI hosts regular events for ongoing education and collaboration in our field. These events take place around the world and feature talks from prominent experts in implant dentistry, along with a showcase of the latest and greatest opportunities for scientific and technological advancements.
The Association of Dental Implant Auxiliaries (ADIA) is a component of ICOI devoted to the education and advancement of auxiliary members of your dental implant team. ADIA offers three unique certification programs to help applicants stay up-to-date on the latest industry knowledge and standards, instilling necessary skills for teams and ensuring individuals meet our high standards.
Our dental hygiene certification will provide training that is essential to guiding and caring for implant patients. These skills will include co-diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient assessment.
Dental assisting certification ensures that dental implant assistants have a solid grasp of the best methods for procedure setup, along with a full understanding of their duty to monitor and attend to patient needs during procedures.
This certification gives team members the skillset required to deliver effective guidance for patients as they go through the entire dental implant process, from patient education to paperwork and financial concerns. Your team will also develop the skills and knowledge necessary to handle daily oversight of operations. These will include how to effectively handle communication, marketing, scheduling, and productivity tracking.
